Am watching Uncanny Counters at the moment, so far, so good.

The first season was excellent. The second a little less so, but still worth watching!

Absolutely loved Flower of Evil! The others, I have yet to see, but I've heard good things about them.

Flower of Evil was a good one. So unique in the storytelling, too!

Great list. I also am a fraidy cat and cant/wont do gore/violence so I delayed watching the uncanny counter untlil last month. Totally didn't need to. Thank you as always for your insights and thoughtful study of each show....As with all lists, by design some things must be left off. To that end I was surprised to not see "Inspector Koo" and "hyena" on here.

HYENA was so good! But I can't make the whole post about Kim Hye-soo... Well, actually, it could... lol

I didn't really like "Inspector Koo." One of my friends really got into and I watched it because she said I'd love it. My review is here: https://jaehakim.substack.com/p/10-worst-kdramas-gong-yoo-interest-of-love#%C2%A7inspector-koo

Of the lot, I love Flower of Evil and Happiness the most! Flower of Evil may have over-the-top melodramatic moments, but I was so invested in the characters' insane journeys and the ending was so satisfying. Happiness - if there's a genre that needs to be invented, it is "slice of life zombie drama". I want them to make more of these LOL.

HAPPINESS is one of my favorite Korean shows ever. I've watched it a couple times already and think they did such a great job in exploring so many topics. FLOWER OF EVIL had a LOT going on that kept me guessing (which is a good thing!). I love the rom coms, but sometimes it's nice to watch the darker shows, too.

In Flower of Evil, I was so convinced he was a Dexter-like character, like a sociopath pretending to be normal. I think he has a touch but is fortunately "normal". I don't think I can root for a truly sociopathic character lol. But, I love how they depicted the love he has with his family, and how desperate he was to keep it together despite his twisted history. One of those rare rewatchable kdramas for me!

I think Happiness, besides Alive, is one of my fav zombie shows - but in Happiness, it's the people that's truly scary hahaha
