I tried to remember a role where Kim Mi Kyung played someone glammed up and The Master's Sun easily comes into mind. She was fun as a chaebol auntie with younger hubby back then.😊
Will put Agency on my To Watch list if I can squeeze in sometime. I don't think Lee Bo Young ever does a bad drama.😅
I love these recs. Adding it to the list! I live in LA part time and I remember when my friends started being cast as 'mother's at 35! But the 'teen' characters had to be played by people of age, so they were usually only 10 years younger, if that...
Thanks, Aime! And yes, I understand about them preferring to use actors who aren't underage for production reasons. But poor Kim Mi-kyung can't catch a break. I'd love to see her in a starring role one day... She was fantastic in "Healer"!
I loved Agency, but was appalled but not only the amount of medication without therapy and for such an extended period of time. That doctor was a pushover.
Sorry, didn’t like Eun-Jung’s character. I get why they were showing it but I got tired of the same home scenes over and over and just started skipping her parts. She didn’t add anything much to the story. Also what’s the fascination with large eaters in KDramas?
I adored Kim Mi-kyung and dislike that she always shows up in these roles obviously aged. Her as a hacker in Healer has so far been my favorite. Shoutout to Yeom Hye-ran kicking butt in Uncanny Counter!
Overall, I like the storyline that someone can seem well put together but it actually a mess inside.
Yes! I really enjoyed this show and the serious subjects that it tackled. But you're right: the overmedicating just seemed criminal. She needed therapy and lots of it!
Kim Mi-kyung is always a delight when she appears. Loved her kickass role in "Healer" and how she glammed up when she wanted to!

Even at the end of Healer, Kim Mi-kyung got out of her Ajumma clothes and cleaned up nicely!
I hope you enjoy Agency when you have time to watch it!

Your recommendations always hit the mark BTW! I started watching because you mentioned liking it on Twitter :)
