Well, I could say a lot of things, but I think the short answer is that voters for both of those organizations are primarily older white men and Greta, Celine and Jungkook aren't on their radar. I remember a while ago, a member of the voting academy for the Oscars said that they knew of quite a few people who voted without ever having seen even the screeners provided to them. 😬

i write about the relationship between music and culture, how one cannot exist without the other, especially in regards to political climates, ethnic and racial cultures, music history, and so forth.
i really enjoy k-pop, and write about it pretty frequently, especially the music's connection to korean culture, economy and society. and i feel like a lot of your writing also reflects that!
