Oh I did not need to watch that first thing in the morning! My coffee is now very salty. Absolutely amazing video- so strong that it felt like the denouement of a film and we'd seen these two lives much longer. Just astonishing.

That is the perfect description. Everything about it was very cinematic. A great job all around.

(Tone: Sincere) I read your article yesterday & it moved me to tears; I read it again today and it moved me to tears once more– all the same your words & IU’s song inspired me to go into deep reflection.

As an astrologer (no, not the ‘social media / magazine horoscope, sun-sign obsessed, believer/follower of ‘celestial determinism’ kind) I looked at the chart of the song as I listened & watched the MV side by side. IU’s “Love Wins All” has a very different message than say “All You Need Is Love” by The Beatles– IU’s lyrics alongside the MV feels more like a: Plea to Humanity to ‘check yourself’ & stop the nonsense...

Re: The pile of clothes in the MV, as Boltanski says, “They’re all objects related to the missing person,” which for me indicates a clear nod to the asteroid “Ceres” (for those who learned/ paid attention when learning Mythology Ceres/Demeter’s daughter Proserpina/Persephone was abducted by Hades/Pluto & taken to the underworld). The symbolism ties in heart wrenchingly with the latter half of the chorus,

“Crush me in your arms

Give me a lovelier kiss, lover

Love is all, love is all

Love, lovе, love, love”

and is reflected in our world where seemingly so many are ‘losing themselves’ / ‘abducted by’ say– mindless social media clickbait & political propaganda that has somehow convinced & rewired individuals to pay the piper to willingly ‘follow’ him, but I digress.

The bridge of the song seemingly symbolizes an acceptance of impending tragedy/ the descent into the underworld:

I slowly film you with my eyes

Please make a serene smile once again

...

In the night of that day

Will you courageously set with me?

Destroy me slowly and chilly, ruiner

...

However, what struck me most is:

The ‘Square’ / Floating Object(s) (a nod to a Venus- Neptune square) symbolizing Love is essential for a healthy existence, yet if you ignore it prepare to “meet your maker.”

A ‘square’ in my field of expertise represents tension, struggle, stress but is necessary for growth– these themes are seemingly woven within the subtext of the lyrics and the MV.

Further interesting are the colors of the square:

Blue = emotional ebbs & flows, which point to Neptune in Pisces- to understand what this means is to reflect on what we’ve been experiencing globally since April 2011 and check the history books of what happened between 1847-1862.

Red is indicative of the sign shift into Fiery Aries in March 2025-2039. For context what this could mean looking forward is written in our history books between 1861-1875. The first line of the 2nd Verse is also symbolic in this way:

“Far away in the universe from Earth to Mars”

and again at the bridge:

Will you courageously set with me?

before coming full circle in what we must all experience one day, as in the MV when the square turns red– death.

...I realize I’ve shared a mouthful; IU, V, the song, the MV...there’s so much wisdom to glean from them– I hope we all pay attention!

(Tone: Grateful) Thank you for indulging my words! Thank you again for the inspiration!
